Fun at The Farm 2021

Tuesday 27th July to Thursday 29th July  2021
10:00am to 3:00pm

Holiday Club for children having finished Year 1 – Year 3

Where? Village Farm, Hungarton, LE7 9JA. This is a working farm owned by Tim and Audrey Dixon, who are members of Knighton Free Church. They are once again opening up their barn (equipped with rope swing, bouncy castle and straw-bale football pitch) and their covered swimming pool (with boys/ girls changing rooms and toilets) for us to enjoy a fun-packed 3 days.

What? Games, craft, supervised free play, supervised swimming with leaders in the pool, farm tour and tractor ride. Every day we will share a bible story time in which the children can hear the message of the bible in short, fun presentations. Bring a packed lunch each day; including a mid-morning snack.

Who? The leaders are all volunteers from Knighton Free Church. Many of us have enjoyed activities at the farm over the years and are keen to share the fun with the next generation. All leaders over 18 have been DBS checked. We are lucky to have some young leaders too, but each group will be led by someone over 18.

Things to bring? Appropriate clothing for playing in barns of straw, swimming kit and towel in a bag every day (and flotation if needed). Also any medication which may be required.

Getting there? Meet us at the farm at 10am. If you are unable to get your child to the farm, then there may be a chance of a lift in our minibus, meeting at Knighton Free Church at 9:15 (returning for you to collect from church at 3:30). Please let us know if you’d like a lift and we will allocate spaces on a case by case basis. You can leave a booster seat with your child if needed.
